Luigi celebrates his birthday at the legendary attraction Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. When he dares to take a look backstage, he suddenly becomes locked in, the door tightly locked - something sinister is going on here.

As night falls Luigi finally finds a way out, where he meets his old pal Professor E. Gadd who has been investigating Freddy's for years. It doesn't take long before the two of them realize that they are not alone. Luigi has to set on a new ghost hunt, with the help of E. Gadd's latest invention, the Poltergust F-RD.
